Today was an amazing day. We had “Radar” and his colleagues here at home.
For those who don’t know, Radar works for TV One here in New Zealand and does all sorts of funny and fascinating documentaries.
This season he is doing a series of historical episodes, and one involves a Bleriot that flew in Auckland in 1914.
So one day last year I got an email from his boss, a TV productions man in Auckland 🙂 He asked if they could use my Bleriot for some filming. The pressure went on, and last weekend I installed the engine, ready, well visually ready for the recordings.
It was such a nice day, nice people, and all went so well !!!
Here are some photos, and special thanks to Radar, Ruth and Peter the 4 camera people and the 5 actors. Well done !!!
Oh yes I was dressed as well, as a newspaper reporter. Can you spot me ?
A day we won’t forget, really great !!!!
